On Wednesday, a small plane crashed on a golf course in the Denver, Colorado, area after taking off from Centennial Airport five miles away.
Next crash After the plane flipped over in the crash, the two people on board got off the plane and walked away, authorities said, according to the Associated Press.

One suffered minor injuries but refused hospital treatment, the other was uninjured. The plane, identified as a Cessna 172, crashed at Meridian Golf Club, landing near the seventh hole.

“It was a surprise, for sure, because it happened right next to three people, within 30 feet of them,” Dave Lopez, who runs the course outside Inglewood, told the outlet.
Authorities said the plane's engine failed, forcing it to make an emergency landing.
“We were just amazed at the scene,” said South Metro Fire Rescue Captain Brian Willey. “The plane was upside down when we got there and we're just so thankful they were able to walk out of there.”

Willie said Fox 31 Denver, “Both planes had just taken off so this must have been a scary flight for both of them. And the other interesting thing about this is that a second plane just took off behind it and was flying above it, and that plane was the one that reported the crash on the golf course.”
Officials from the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident, which shocked people but also left them relieved that nothing more happened.
