Teenagers Arrested After Attempted Carjacking
Two 15-year-olds have been detained following an attempted carjacking of Edward Coristine, a former member of the government’s Department of Efficiency.
Coristine sought to protect his loved ones after reporting that the teens had expressed interest in getting into his car. As he confronted the group, he was violently attacked until the police arrived.
According to reports, two teens were arrested in relation to the attempted carjacking involving Coristine, often referred to as “big ball.” Authorities indicated that one suspect, a female police officer, identified herself as being close to the vehicle at around 3 am on Sunday in the Logan Circle area of Washington.
Witnesses said the group made comments about entering the car before Coristine pushed his companions inside for safety. When he faced the teenagers, some violently assaulted him until law enforcement intervened. Upon the police’s arrival, the group fled on foot, authorities added.
In response to the incident, Donald Trump threatened federal intervention in the city if crime rates don’t improve.
Trump stated that crime in Washington, DC is spiraling out of control, with local youth and gang members, some as young as 14, attacking innocent civilians and facing little to no consequences. He expressed frustration over the situation and insisted that these minors should be prosecuted as adults. He emphasized the need for Washington to be safe and appealing, urging immediate action to address the issue or face potential federal oversight of the city. He lamented that no one should have to live in fear of violent crime, hinting at a willingness to take decisive action. Make America great again!
