Two teens stabbed inside NYC fast-food restaurant

Two teenage boys were stabbed after an argument at a Manhattan fast food restaurant, police said.

Police say the victims, ages 16 and 17, were stabbed during an argument with a man in his 20s inside the Panda Express store at 2852 Broadway near 11th Street just after 1 p.m. Saturday.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the lower back and a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the abdomen, according to an NYPD spokesman, and both were transported by private means to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. Police are searching for a man in his 20s with curly hair who was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt, black jeans and a blue mask.

Police said the suspect fled “in an unknown direction” after the bloody incident.

A manager at Panda Express declined to comment.

This fast food restaurant is located about a half mile from Columbia University.
