While everyone may have expected Davante Adams to be the Jets player to score Aaron Rodgers' 500th career touchdown, that honor went to tight end Tyler Conklin. Ta.
Conklin caught a 5-yard pass from Rodgers early in the second quarter, giving Rodgers a milestone touchdown.
“It was a really great moment to be a part of,” Conklin said. “I'm happy to play my part and be involved. Let's see what the future holds.”
Rodgers didn't hit No. 499 for two weeks after failing to throw a touchdown last week against Buffalo, but he hit No. 500 early in the Jets' 32-20 win over the Dolphins.

With Conklin set to become a free agent in March and Rodgers' future with the Jets uncertain, it's unlikely the two will play together again, at least not with the Jets.

The Jets' home games will be against the Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, Browns, Steelers, Falcons, Panthers, Broncos and Cowboys.
Their road games will be against the Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, Ravens, Bengals, Saints, Buccaneers and Jaguars.
Dates and times will be announced in the spring.
Despite the win, the Jets are still scheduled to pick No. 7 in the draft, the same spot they entered this week.
The Jets finished ahead of the other three 5-12 teams in the draft order because they played an easier schedule.

Adams, who has surpassed 1,000 yards in five consecutive seasons, caught a touchdown from Rodgers in the fourth quarter.
This was his 83rd touchdown connection, the third in NFL history.
They passed Dan Marino and Mark Clayton.
