Recent reports indicate that Tyler Robinson, the suspected assassin of Charlie Kirk, was involved in “furry” subculture activities online and engaged with adult-themed games. Notably, he reportedly left a message related to a sexually explicit game on the bullet casing linked to Kirk’s death.
A friend of the 22-year-old suspect told the Daily Mail that Robinson had multiple accounts, including one named “Craftin247,” where he participated in various gaming platforms. It appears he downloaded a dating simulator named “Fur Shade of Gay,” described as a mix of romantic themes, absurd humor, and explicit content.
Robinson’s gaming history suggests he was quite active within the furry community, even receiving an award for his gameplay. Allegedly, he played as a character based on an anthropomorphic cat dressed as a French maid.
Additionally, his account on furaffinity.net, a site known for showcasing sexualized cartoon animal artwork, reportedly matches usernames linked to Robinson. From what was gathered last week, the Craftin247 profile noted recent interactions with a user named Redrusker.
Redrusker acknowledged in May 2023 creating artwork featuring “minor characters” and expressed regret for it, stating he wouldn’t produce similar content again, yet continued to share cartoon porn involving younger figures.
Connections within the community also show Robinson’s ties to another artist, “Obure,” who is recognized for producing furry content as well as images of significantly overweight women. Earlier in January, Robinson commented on Obure’s Steam profile mentioning a troubling personal experience during his mother’s work trip.
Robinson was charged with the fatal shooting of Kirk, a conservative activist, who was addressing a crowd at Utah Valley University on September 10. The evidence from the cartridge linked to the rifle included a phrase related to a specific emoji often used in gamer culture, representing a cat face with large eyes.
