WASHINGTON – Tyler Robinson, who is allegedly linked to the shooting of Charlie Kirk, was reportedly living with a transgender partner undergoing transition from male to female, as confirmed by sources on Saturday.
While those involved haven’t been publicly named, they are cooperating with the FBI in the inquiry regarding the shootings that claimed the lives of conservative activists. This relationship was initially highlighted by a report from Fox News.
Text messages and other communications between Robinson, 22, and transgender individuals played a role in the investigation, leading authorities to identify him as a suspect.
At a recent press conference, federal and state officials shared that “roommates” assisting in the investigation mentioned communications from a contact named “Tyler,” who referenced a bullet casing similar to those found at the crime scene and discussed plans to acquire a rifle.
Kirk, 31, sustained a gunshot wound to the neck shortly after he was questioned during a segment of his college tour titled “American Comeback,” which touched on the topic of a mass shooting game involving transgender individuals.
“Do you have any idea how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters in the last decade?” asked an attendee named Hunter Kozak.
Update on the shooting involving Charlie Kirk
“Too many,” Kirk responded.
Kozak followed up, asking, “And how many mass shooters have there been in America over the past ten years?”
Kirk tried to clarify, “Are we counting gang violence or not?”
Shortly after this exchange, Kirk was shot and rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery but was pronounced dead within hours.
The FBI did not provide immediate comments when asked for more information.
