Tyreek Hill channels Antonio Brown after remarks about future with Dolphins

Tyreek Hill channeled Antonio Brown on Monday, hours after the Miami Dolphins indicated he wanted to leave the team if they missed the playoffs during the 2024 season.

It wasn't clear exactly what Hill was trying to convey, but his comments after the Dolphins' loss to the Jets definitely raised some eyebrows.

“I just have to do what's best for me and my family,” he told reporters, noting it was the first time he didn't qualify for the Lombardi Trophy. “Whether it's here or wherever, I'm going to open that door myself.

“I'm going to open the door. I'm going to walk out, brother. It was great to play here, but at the end of the day, you have to do what's best for your career. 'Cause I just want to walk out. Because there's too much competition.'' “

He then seemed to double down on another post about X.

“It is only with respect and love that the blessings of our loving Finnish people have opened the door to eternity for the Hill family,” he tweeted.

The Dolphins acquired Hill in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022. He made an immediate impact and pushed the team into a playoff contender.

During his time at Miami, he had 319 catches for 4,468 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Hill will only turn 31 in March, but he's proven he can still pack a powerful punch offensively.
