Former Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill appeared in court on Thursday to face claims from an OnlyFans model who accused him of injuring her leg during a meeting. Her lawyer alleges that he aggressively shoved her after feeling humiliated during a football lesson.
Hill, standing at 5-foot-10 and weighing 191 pounds, is being sued by 6-foot-1, 250-pound Sophie Hall. She contends that she suffered a leg fracture due to “crushing force” while practicing soccer at her home in Southwest Ranches, Florida, on June 28, 2023.
A key piece of evidence presented against Hall’s claims includes her own admission in a deposition that Hill gave her a piggyback ride and they engaged in a sexual encounter for several days after the injury occurred.
Hill mentioned that she was interested in him partly because she has a preference for taller women.
During opening statements at a Broward County courtroom in Fort Lauderdale, Hall’s attorney, Jonathan Gdanski, told jurors that the case centers around “aggressive conduct.” It was reported that the incident unfolded when Hall “humiliated” Hill by pushing him backward in front of friends and family.
“What happened was a woman named Sophie Hall pulled him back,” Gdanski stated. “They giggled.”
Hall’s attorney detailed how the injury inflicted “excruciating pain,” citing the urgency for her to seek medical attention.
The lawsuit claims that Hill became furious and forcefully shoved Hall, leading to a severe leg fracture.
Hall, who boasts 2.3 million followers on Instagram, asserts that her injury required reconstructive surgery and ongoing physical therapy sessions.
She is seeking over $50,000 in damages, claiming assault, battery, and negligence.
During the opening statements, the jurors were shown her X-rays.
In response to the lawsuit, Hill’s attorney has stated that Hall tripped over a dog, resulting in her injury.
Hill’s lawyer emphasized that Hall was aware of the risks involved during the training they participated in.
Hall is expected to testify after her attorney concludes his statements.
In a December 2024 affidavit, Hall’s lawyer noted that Hill admitted to an interest in her partly due to her height, suggesting it was a fetish.
In an October 2024 deposition, Hall acknowledged that she had intimate relations with Hill following the injury but did not pursue medical care until days later. She described being carried by him and spending additional time together, indicating a need for comfort during that vulnerable moment.
Hall mentioned that their relationship developed after Hill enrolled his son in her football camp, and they kept in touch frequently until her injury occurred.
Interestingly, Hall seemed to soften her stance during a 2024 interrogation, clarifying that she used a different term to describe her injury: “That’s not the word I used. I said I was injured while playing,” she explained, trying to mitigate the implication that Hill had intentionally harmed her.
Hill has dealt with previous legal troubles, including domestic violence allegations from his estranged wife and questions surrounding paternity related to his two children with different online influencers.
