Miami head coach Mike McDaniel was also fairly vague about Hill's game status, saying, “He'll play if his body allows.”

“I think it's really an internal issue right now between me and Tyreke and his family and the team,” Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus added about the situation during the press conference. In WSVN. “I know he’s focused on doing the best he can for tomorrow night’s game.”

This game was also important for the Dolphins, who sit at the bottom of the AFC East with 2 wins and 6 losses. Another loss could keep them out of the playoff spot.

Hill hasn't been as productive as usual this season, completing only 34 passes for 446 yards, including one touchdown reception, in eight games so far.

The Dolphins struggled offensively in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills when quarterback Tua Tagovailoa went down with a concussion.
