Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones Tie the Knot
Tyrese Haliburton, a standout player for the Pacers, has married Jade Jones.
The couple exchanged vows on Tuesday at the Indianapolis Marriage License Bureau, just before a planned ceremony on August 1. Jones shared moments from their courthouse wedding on Instagram, showing snippets of the special occasion alongside a few witnesses.
“It’s official (of the court),” Jones captioned her post.
On that day, Jones wore a white minidress with matching heels, clutching a bouquet of white flowers. Haliburton opted for a relaxed all-black look.
Friends, family, and fans quickly flooded the comments with their excitement.
Jordyn Woods, engaged to Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, sweetly remarked, “Yay, we’re one step closer.”
Haliburton and Jones have been together since 2019 when they were both attending Iowa State University. Haliburton played basketball there, while Jones was part of the cheer team. In July 2025, he proposed on campus.
Interestingly, this celebration follows the recent passing of Jones’ dear friend, Makenzie Khan, who died on June 8 during a solo trip to St. Barths. The exact cause of death hasn’t been disclosed, although Khan’s obituary mentioned “health complications” during her travels.
A week after the loss, Jones took to Instagram to honor her friend, who had also cheered at Iowa State. “I am forever grateful that I was able to love and continue to be loved by someone as truly special as Kensi,” she expressed. “Kens was truly the light of this world, and that light will continue to shine in all those who were lucky enough to know her. I will love you forever, Kenzi, until the end of the world.”
As for Haliburton, he’s gearing up to rejoin the Pacers after sitting out the entire 2025-26 season due to a torn right Achilles tendon he sustained during Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. In his absence, the team struggled, finishing with a record of 19-63.
