Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk fight rescheduled for 18 May in Riyadh | Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury’s undisputed world heavyweight title fight against Oleksandr Usyk has been rescheduled for May 18, promoters have announced.

The much-hyped clash was originally scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia later this month, but was postponed after the British fighter suffered a nasty cut above his eye while training.

Queensberry Promotions, which announced the postponement, posted a photo of Fury appearing to have a large cut above his right eye. The statement added that the wound “requires urgent treatment and extensive stitches and will obviously take some time to heal, ruling out the possibility of a fight with Usyk.” Ta.
