U.S. Army Soldier Taken into Custody for Drug Offenses Following Colorado Nightclub DEA Operation

U.S. Army soldiers are facing drug-related charges following a recent Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) operation in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This operation resulted in the arrest of 114 undocumented individuals and the confiscation of firearms, drug paraphernalia, and narcotics.

A 28-year-old soldier, Juan Gabriel Orona Rogliguez, is set to face federal charges related to cocaine distribution and conspiracy after being linked to the DEA’s crackdown on an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs. He has been accused of selling cocaine to an undercover DEA agent.

Charges filed in Colorado allege that Orona Rogliguez, still an active duty soldier, unlawfully distributed a controlled substance. The complaint asserts that he sold cocaine to an undercover operative during the week of April 21, 2025, specifically targeting a nightclub known for its frequent illegal activities.

Text messages exchanged between September 16, 2024, and April 9, 2025, were discovered when investigators executed a search warrant on Orona Rogliguez’s phone, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the region.

There are indications that Orona Rogliguez had a significant connection to the underground nightclub, along with several other active military personnel who were present during the raid. Court documents suggest he may have had a leadership role at Immortal Security LLC, a firm that provides armed security at nightclubs, including illegal venues operating outside normal hours in Colorado Springs.

The nightclub has developed a reputation for criminal activities, with the Colorado Springs Police Department having received numerous 911 calls related to Wahke and various reported offenses, including weapon violations, assaults, drug-related incidents, and other violent crimes. The DEA carried out an early morning raid on Wahke following the acquisition of a federal search warrant. Orona Rogliguez was among about 17 active U.S. Army personnel present during the search.

According to Breitbart News, during the operation at the underground nightclub, 114 undocumented individuals were apprehended, and DEA agents recovered multiple firearms, drug-related equipment, and personal drug items that patrons had discarded during the raid.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Denver office and the DEA’s Colorado Springs division are investigating the activities associated with underground nightclubs. The prosecution is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Colorado.

This case is linked to President Trump’s “Operation Takeback America,” a national initiative aimed at countering illegal immigration, dismantling cartel and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and fully utilizing the Department of Justice’s resources to safeguard communities from violent crime.
