UCLA protesters call for ‘intifada,’ decry ‘genocide’ but can’t define either: video

A political commentator faced white stares from anti-Israel demonstrators at the University of California, Los Angeles when he asked them to define the “intifada” they were calling for.

“Are you guys calling for an intifada?” Cam Higbee in disbelief asked the group on Friday., as chants could be heard in the background. One masked demonstrator nodded weakly, but no one spoke up.

“What is that?” Higbee asked unsuspecting protesters wearing N-95 masks, facial piercings and keffiyeh scarves.

“Are you guys proud to scream intifada? Huh? Hmm,” he said with a surprised laugh.

The protesters even admit to being ignorant about the current Middle East conflict, which began with the October 7 terrorist attacks in Israel by Hamas.

One student who demonstrated at New York University this week told the Post on camera that he needed to “learn more” about the issue.

Kaimani James, the leader of the campus protests, was expelled from Columbia, where chants of “We are Hamas!” were being shouted. After a video of him saying, “Zionists don’t deserve to live,” was leaked, chants such as “Hamas, be proud of us” were heard.

Police were called to some campuses and hundreds of people were arrested.

The UCLA encampment emerged a day after police in riot gear arrested nearly 100 protesters at the University of Southern California, which has since forced the university to cancel its “main stage” graduation ceremony. I no longer get it.
