university men's basketball Coach Dan Hurley's recent sideline antics with officials were caught on broadcast cameras Tuesday night as the Huskies beat Butler in overtime at Hartford's XL Center for their 15th consecutive win.

Tuesday night was no different, with Hurley's choice of words toward an official going viral on social media instantly.

Late in the first half, with UW leading by 10 points, Hurley felt a foul should have been called on the defensive rebound attempt and approached the referee.

But while Hurley defended himself, officials turned their backs on the coach. That's when the broadcast featured Harley's epic one-liner.
“Don't turn your back on me, I'm the best coach in this sport.”
Hurley did not deny the remarks at the post-match press conference, but explained that he was seeking further “communication” with those involved.
“I told you so,” Harley replied with a grin. “Oh, yeah. I know I'm going to sound like an asshole here, but there needs to be some communication.”

Hurley went a step further in defending himself, adding that while his interactions with officials were not special, camera time was.
“I wish they would have focused the camera on the opposing coach more,” he continued. “I wish they would have shown other coaches losing their minds to the officials in other games.” big east games Coaching everywhere I look, going into timeouts where I'm not talking to officials. I think other coaches are just as demonstrative as I am.
“But the cameras, obviously, I created this for myself. I'm not a victim. I just hope 90% of the time they don't point the cameras at me.
