UFC canceled its UFC 303 press conference 12 hours before it was to begin after rumors swirled about star athlete Conor McGregor’s recent online behavior.
“The event, which was due to take place in Dublin, Ireland, was cancelled with no rescheduled date announced in a post that caused a stir on social media.” New York Post.
“Admission to the press conference was free, however it was a ticketed event and the allocated tickets were sold out within minutes of being made public,” it added.
With the rematch between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler fast approaching, fans have been eagerly awaiting the press conference.
“UFC Fans, the #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday, June 3 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland has been postponed until further notice,” UFC posted on X. “We sincerely apologize to the fans who planned to attend. We will provide more information on a new date and time as soon as we have it. Thank you.”
UFC president Dana White did not elaborate on the situation when speaking to reporters in Newark after Saturday’s UFC 302, which former President Trump attended. UFC 303 will make its debut on June 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC did not provide any details, but fans on social media speculated that UFC canceled their press conference because McGregor had canceled one. They were spotted partying In Dublin.
“This statement is unlike anything we’ve seen from UFC before. I’m guessing there are major changes happening to the card, especially McGregor vs. Chandler, which is the only fight that could justify this type of reaction,” said writer Nick Lombardi.
“Oh my gosh what did Conor McGregor do just a few hours ago? Irish fans who knew this was going to happen are going to wake up pretty angry,” one user wrote.
