UFC chief Dana White says he’s ‘nobody’s puppet’ in ringing endorsement speech for pal Trump

UFC President Dana White gave a passionate speech in support of Donald Trump, his friend of 25 years.

The former president invited White to speak at the Republican National Convention and gave him just one piece of advice: “Think of it as the biggest fight you’ve ever fought.”

The UFC representative said Trump is also “fighting for the future of this country,” but what surprised him most about the invitation was that the 45th president also expressed “concerns about disrupting my visit.”

“The mainstream media likes to push the narrative that he doesn’t care about anybody but himself,” White said.

“I’ve known this guy for 25 years and I absolutely know that’s not true,” he added.

“Nobody from the Trump campaign told me what to say, nobody told me what to say, and I’m not anybody’s puppet,” he vehemently asserted.

“I know President Trump is a fighter,” he said. “I work in the tough guy business, and this guy is the toughest, most tenacious guy I’ve ever seen.”
