UFC legend Mark Coleman was hospitalized Tuesday morning after rescuing his parents and dog from a massive house fire in Toledo, Ohio, friend and former training partner Wes Sims said.
“Mark’s parents [sic] The house burned down last night and Mark saved Dan and them. connie whos coleman And I’m back for my dog Hammer,” Sims, who also competed in the UFC, posted on Facebook.
Coleman ran into his home three times to save his parents and dog, and was airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. according to Go to MMAFighting.com.
Seven different fire departments responded to the fire, but the cause remains unknown, the media noted.
Coleman, 59, was intubated and sedated at a Toledo hospital and remained there as of Tuesday night, Sims said.
“I swear to god he’s one of the toughest guys ever created and he’s had so much experience making movies at this point that I don’t want to do justice to his life’s work.” I couldn’t give you that!” Please. Coleman was an early adopter of the UFC and the sport. beginning All Heavyweight Champions. He was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2008.

Coleman, 59, never hesitated for a moment to call himself a hero after receiving a lifetime of punishment in the Octagon.
