UFO tracker reveals thousands of mysterious underwater objects hidden near US shores

The Truth Lies Beneath

A widely-used UFO reporting app has noted a significant number of sightings of unidentified submersible objects (USOs) in U.S. waterways, leading senior Navy officials to express concerns about potential national security threats.

Enigma, which brands itself as “the largest queryable historical sightings database of UFO sightings worldwide,” has reportedly received over 30,000 accounts of unidentified flying objects and various unexplained phenomena since it launched in late 2022.

Interestingly, these sightings aren’t confined to the skies. There are numerous accounts of strange objects emerging from the ocean depths or diving in without creating any ripple.

Video footage analyzed by the Pentagon has shown unidentified vessels smoothly entering and exiting the water without any visible disturbance, raising alarm for some officials.

As of August, Enigma captured over 9,000 mysterious incidents reported within 10 miles of the U.S. coastline or significant bodies of water. About 500 of these were within just 5 miles, with more than 150 specifically describing objects either floating in the air or plunging into the water.

The states with the most USO sightings are California (389) and Florida (306), both of which rank among the top states for marine coastlines. One particularly strange incident featured cell phone footage of an unexplained green light moving beneath the ocean.

The app has created a map illustrating these reported sightings, showing clusters of orange dots along both the east and west coasts.

While UFO sightings aren’t exactly a new phenomenon and are often dismissed as fanciful or relegated to science fiction by many in the scientific community, retired Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet has cautioned that these crafts—which seamlessly move from sky to sea—could have “world-changing” implications.

Gallaudet pointed out in a paper that the Pentagon’s lack of significant alarms regarding unidentified objects entering U.S. waters suggests that not all information about these anomalous occurrences is being disclosed.

Concerns were initially raised in July 2019 when the USS Omaha documented a UFO/UAP vanishing into the ocean after engaging a naval fleet near San Diego. The Department of Defense reviewed video from this event, noting it illustrated how such objects could threaten maritime security, already compromised by a general lack of knowledge about the oceans.

In a 29-page report for the Sol Foundation, a think tank focused on UFOs, Gallaudet mentioned that there’s a recurring pattern of these phenomena being reported.

“Pilots, reliable witnesses, and military instruments have recorded objects that accelerate and cross the air-sea interface at speeds that seem impossible for any human-made technology,” he wrote.
