Testimony in High-Profile Rape Case

A Ukrainian model recounted feeling “numbed” after consuming a drink allegedly laced with a drug during a party at a luxurious property in the Hamptons, where she claims billionaire Oren Alexander raped her. This testimony was presented in federal court in Manhattan.

Using the alias “Bela Koval,” the Chicago-based model described how she felt unable to control her body, saying it felt “like my whole body was sedated.” She began her testimony on Monday against Oren, 38, his twin brother Aron, and their 39-year-old sibling Tal, who are accused of running a sex-trafficking operation for over a decade.

Koval, formally dressed in a black suit, detailed an incident where Oren, reclined in a bean bag chair, allegedly handed her a drink from a red plastic cup during a lavish celebration over Labor Day weekend in 2016. After consuming a few drinks, Koval began to feel “very strange,” explaining that “a wave of emotions washed over me.”

When she attempted to stand, she realized she was “losing control of her limbs.” Stumbling into the house, she went to a basement bedroom, where she said Aron Alexander “swooped” in, grabbed her arm, and directed her to another room. Koval testified that she fell asleep and woke hours later to find Oren Alexander allegedly entering the room.

At that moment, she tried to convey to Oren that “something wasn’t right,” but he seemed to ignore her, taking out a condom and removing her clothing. Koval felt “fully awake and conscious” in her mind but described her body as “paralyzed,” fearing “something was going to happen.” She claimed that Oren then raped her, adding that she attempted to push him away without success.

“He didn’t show any facial expressions other than a dark anger… There was no emotion at all,” she recalled, simply remembering him breathing on her.

During Koval’s testimony, Oren sat at the defense table, at times appearing slumped. However, the next day, he looked at Koval intensely as his attorney aggressively questioned her about the night in question, particularly focusing on inconsistencies in her accounts, such as the clothing she wore.

The defense attorney, Tennie Geragos, also presented photos of Koval holding various drinks, despite her claim of not drinking due to health reasons. Koval admitted to having “mocktails,” with the possibility of a few sips of alcohol. When pressed about whether she really knew what happened that night, Koval firmly responded, “My focus is on being drugged and raped,” emphasizing that trivial details weren’t her concern.

Prosecutors previously showed images of the opulent Hamptons mansion, describing it as a “house of horrors.” Koval indicated that it was Aron who invited her to this lavish residence, which featured amenities like a pool and a hot tub.

Last week, a nurse from Nevada tearfully testified about allegedly being raped by Tal Alexander in the shower of the same property, describing the act as “pure domination.” Additionally, photos surfaced of actor Zac Efron with Tal Alexander from a 2012 gathering, with another accuser, Katie Moore, stating she met the twins at an Efron-hosted event where she too claims she was assaulted by Aron.

The Alexander siblings have each pleaded not guilty to charges that could lead to a minimum of 15 years in prison, escalating to life imprisonment.
