Ted Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber, was found dead in a federal prison on Saturday at the age of 81, according to the Bureau of Prisons.
Kaczynski became one of America’s most notorious criminals, killing three people and wounding 23 more in a series of bombings from 1978 to 1995. Kaczynski was a self-proclaimed environmental activist who targeted individuals he believed were responsible for technological progress.
