UNC alum files for 2-word trademark after Bill Belichick becomes head coach

A new era has begun at North Carolina State, and one former Tar Heel student is looking to make a lot of money for it.

Bill Belichick was introduced as UNC's head football coach Thursday. Initial reports were ridiculed, but unfortunately, this is all real.

Well, now that Belichick is wearing light blue, a UNC alum has filed for a trademark to commemorate the historic moment.

According to TMZ, Anthony Prussia, who graduated in 2000, filed for a trademark for the term “Chapel Building,” which is, of course, a play on the school's location.

of The school actually used this phrase in X Thursday when Belichick arrived at the facility for a press conference.

Prussia told TMZ that while he will allow the school and Belichick to own the trademark or license apparel based on it, he will definitely use it on merchandise himself.
