UNC makes significant football hire as Jordon Hudson-Bill Belichick situation intensifies

North Carolina: Assistance is on the way.

In light of the ongoing buzz about Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, the University of North Carolina is reportedly boosting its public relations efforts.

They have brought on former Chicago Bears PR head, Brandon Faber, to help manage the escalating narrative surrounding Belichick and his 24-year-old partner.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, it’s noted that “Faber is formally employed by UNC and not directly by Belichick. His specific title is still under review, but he will effectively serve as the primary communicator for football.”

Pro Football Talk initially revealed that UNC was in discussions with Faber regarding this role, shortly before he joined Belichick at a promotional function for the coach’s new book the previous week.

Hudson did not attend that event.

The hiring of Faber comes right after a new headline regarding Hudson emerged on Friday.

“While Jordon Hudson isn’t affiliated with the University or Carolina Athletics, she has access to Carolina’s soccer facilities. She will carry on managing all aspects related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand that are separate from university responsibilities.”

Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has been controversial since it began. Following his recent appearance on “CBS Sunday Morning,” Hudson abruptly interrupted a reporter who was asking how they met, stating, “We bumped into fans. We’re not talking about this.”

This incident has sparked intense debate and inquiry about Hudson and her intentions in her relationship with the 73-year-old head coach of the Tar Heels.

In light of the drama unfolding, having Faber on board may help alleviate some of the surrounding tension.
