Understand Them Through Their Actions

Hello, readers.

There’s a lot I wanted to share, so I figured I might as well try to cover it all.

Then I thought, “You…”

“Know them by their fruits”

Ella Emhoff is recognized as a model now.

She just signed with IMG, which I gather is a big name in the modeling world. Over the weekend, a TikTok she posted got a lot of attention, leading to conversations about nepotism being a key issue.

In the comments, you can see people defending Kamala Harris’ daughter, saying things like, “She’s actually pretty adorable.”

I decided to check some of her modeling photos. There are definitely some impressive shots out there.

But honestly, I can’t help but wonder: What choices have you made regarding your appearance?

You’ve got tattoos on your armpit hair and your legs. There’s quite a bit that’s visually jarring about you, and it honestly feels like that’s by design. You could, if you wanted, be at least somewhat presentable. But instead, you opt for this… grotesque look.

Meanwhile, a resident of D.C. has gone viral for her surprise at the transformation of Columbus Circle in Washington, D.C.

She exclaimed, “The water is so blue!” and added, “I’ve never seen marble like this!”

The change is truly remarkable. Just a couple of years ago, that area was overwhelmed by homelessness and crime. What once was a place people avoided due to safety concerns has become much more appealing.

This makeover hasn’t just cleaned up the area visually; it’s addressed the issues that plagued it.

On a different note, El Salvador’s notorious prison, CECOT, has been the subject of scrutiny.

It’s often criticized in English-language media as a severe detention center, especially since the Trump administration started transporting undocumented immigrants there. The comparison between El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele and figures like Putin is becoming a common talking point.

Recently, British journalists visited the facility, and their tour was eye-opening.

One broadcaster reflected on feeling “sympathy” for the inmates due to the harsh conditions. Then there was a chilling segment where an official recounted how one inmate brutally killed five men who had entered his gang’s territory without permission, recording the act as a warning.

The broadcaster concluded that, despite its grim reputation, the prison “worked.” Murders have significantly decreased, going from one every hour to nearly none.

So, I guess that means the streets must be cleaner, right?

There’s a reason why the Bible is one of the most referenced texts in Western culture. Until I wrapped up my studies on the Gospels this year, I didn’t realize how deeply embedded its phrases are in our everyday language.

“By their fruits you will know them” isn’t exactly obscure, but nor is it something people quote often.

These are sentiments that keep coming to mind as I observe the decline of the political left and witness the aftermath.

It’s unsettling. The ugliness is glaring—children waiting for school buses near open drug use; a man exposing himself in public. Murders, urban decay, families crossing borders under dire circumstances, and graduates struggling with basic literacy are just a few examples.

Issues like these evoke real concern. Significant structures like President Obama’s Library and the African American History Museum now loom over a city struggling to maintain its classic charm.

We see troubling trends where children face irreversible medical interventions, and popular media celebrates declines in birth rates. There are glimpses of individuals engaging in chaotic behaviors that raise countless questions.

Historically, we see a consistent pattern: great individuals contribute to remarkable accomplishments. Think of the Sistine Chapel or significant achievements in various fields.

So, what are the “fruits” of today’s society? They extend far beyond just tattoos or unconventional styles.

What have you built? It should be apparent. Those who observe can tell—these outcomes reveal your legacy.
