Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Hamilton, Ohio
Authorities in Ohio have apprehended and charged a group of illegal immigrants from Mexico in connection with troubling incidents involving a 13-year-old girl from Hamilton.
On June 11, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office reported that 38-year-old Jose Juarez Birches was seen staring into the girl’s window and making inappropriate gestures. The sheriff’s office also indicated that there had been additional reports about Birches requesting access to the girl’s social media, allegedly to send sexually explicit videos.
This prompted an investigation, and with assistance from federal agents, the police executed a warrant for criminal trespass and voyeurism at a residence on S. 13th Street, located in a suburb northwest of Cincinnati. During the operation, authorities found Birches attempting to flee but captured him shortly thereafter.
While taking Birches into custody, they discovered four other individuals who were also living in the United States illegally. These individuals were subsequently detained by ICE and taken to Butler County Jail.
Birches is facing additional charges for resisting arrest and obstructing official business. Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones expressed his long-standing commitment to enforcing immigration laws and highlighted that action was necessary at this point.
In another related case from Butler County, just two weeks prior, an illegal immigrant, who had been deported multiple times, was implicated in a murder that occurred on S. 13th Street.
