Unilever crushes dreams of woke co-founder of Ben and Jerry’s

There’s a fight over the ownership and identity of iconic ice cream brands Ben and Jerry, and it appears that the founders of the radical left, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are terribly losing.

Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal It is shown The Cohen was trying to attract investors to buy back the brand he and Greenfield sold to Unilever 25 years ago.

The buyback initiative comes weeks after Unilever removed the company’s anti-Trump CEO, Dave Stever. This is due to Ben and Jerry’s commitment to leftist activism, and despite letters of support from Cohen and Greenfield. After years of clashes about how ice cream companies are communicating politics. And in Unilever’s preparations to spin off ice cream assets.

“In 2000, Unilever loved who we were,” Cohen told the Journal. “Now we are on separate paths in our relationships. We need them to free them.”

Unilever crushed Cohen’s dream this week, showing that Ben and Jerry are “not for sale.” It has been reported Bloomberg.

“The separation and listing of ice cream is an option that considers it to maximize shareholder value. That hasn’t changed,” Unilever CEO Fernando Fernandez said in a media call.

As of July 1st, Unilever Ice Cream will become the Magnum Ice Cream Company and will be reportedly listed in the Netherlands as another entity.

After tolerating decades of radioactive politics, Unilever appears eager to decontaminate Ben and Jerry.

“Many states have found Unilever violated anti-boycott, sale and sanctions laws.”

The ice cream company appears to be unfocused on selling its sweet desserts, focusing on selling awakened political worldview. For example, under previous radical leadership, the company:

  • “It’s time to realize that America exists on stolen Indigenous land and promises to return it.”
  • Called For police refunds.
  • Opposition Laws prohibiting men from women’s sports, preventing teachers from grooming students behind parents’ backs, locking boys out of girls’ locker rooms, preventing children from protecting them from drug shows.
  • We have published a misleading commentary about Kyle Rittenhouse.
  • I lamented supreme court dobbs Decisions and It was proposed In the case of a gentle abortion method.
  • It took a hard Israeli stance.
  • In 2018, we launched “Pecan Resist.” This is the flavor the company said: “I support creating a more fairer and more equitable country for all of us and creating a group that is fighting President Trump’s regression agenda.” and
  • The Democratic candidate was promoted in collaboration with left-wing organised attire civic actions.

Ben and Jerry still appear to be on the front of the sweet left, complain “The white people are occupying it[ing] The status of an unbalanced number of power in our society.” champion Non-straight activism, push Climate warning, create Coconut-flavored Kamala Harris ice cream, and a ton of money poured into radical causes. However, Unilever is clearly beginning to suffer from the effects of the ice cream company’s activism.

Unilever It’s attracting attention In March, as a result of Ben and Jerry’s 2021 decision to halt ice cream sales in Jewish settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, “Many states have found that Unilever is violating their anti-boycott, occupation, and sanctions laws that lead to multiple lawsuits leading to multiple lawsuits in Uniten’s numerous Millsmancheon litigation, including dollars in shares in Unilever.”

Unilever has since sold its Israeli ice cream business to an Israeli distributor, ensuring continued sales across the Jewish state.

“Business is the most powerful force in our society.”

The Journal said this led to the lawsuit and Unilever’s claims. After endorsing the brand’s activities 20 years later, Ben and Jerry’s defenses put “one-sided, highly controversial and polarizing topics” at risk for ice cream companies and their employees.

Ben and Jerry two years after the first lawsuit I sued Again, Unilever in November, claimed that its parent company had tried to publicly support the Palestinians and curb the ice cream company’s efforts to criticize Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.

“Ben & Jerry is a company with a soul,” Cohen told the Journal. “Business is the most powerful force in our society, and for that we are responsible for it.”

Unilever is still ongoing and perhaps they recognize that the company is actually responsible for shareholders, but recently they threatened to withdraw funds from Ben and Jerry’s foundation. It has been reported Reuters.

Sources said to be familiar with the issue told Reuters that Unilever agrees to a prompt audit of donations and condition the foundation ongoing funding.

Basics I said In a statement Tuesday, “Unilever has been funding the foundation’s work as a social justice organization for many years since the no-good merger. We look forward to building the same partnership with Magnum Ice Cream Company, the new spinoff of Unilever’s ice cream business.”

The foundation added that “we reached out to Unilever to clarify news reports regarding the foundation’s continued financial support.”

Fernandez “we’re not threatening,” Bloomberg reported on the proposed foundation audit.

“It is our responsibility to ensure that these funds are used properly,” said Unilever CEO. “It must be assigned to a region or institution that absolutely line up with what is part of the acquisition agreement.”
