Unique basketball card autographed by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant may reach a historic $6 million.

A remarkable basketball card is set to make history.

This one-of-a-kind card features jersey patches adorned with images, autographs, and highlights from iconic players Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. It is projected to fetch an impressive $6 million at auction later this month.

The 2007 Upper Deck dual logoman showcases a piece of Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers jersey alongside a patch from Jordan’s legendary 1997 Championship run with the Chicago Bulls.

Bryant had only signed 11 dual logomen prior to the tragic helicopter crash in 2020 that claimed his life and that of his daughter, Gianna. Notably, he is the only player to share a signed card with Jordan, whose autograph appears on just eight dual logomen.

The excitement surrounding this collectible is palpable.

This remarkable item is being highlighted at Heritage Auctions’ Summer Platinum Night Sports Sale, where it has already reached $2.9 million in bids, with experts predicting it could surpass previous records. To give context, another logoman featuring Steph Curry sold for $5.9 million in July 2021.

Interest has been described as “astronomical” by Chris Ivy, who directs sports auctions at Heritage. “This is certainly the best of all Logomans, thanks to its unique significance in representing the legendary brotherhood of elite players,” he remarked.

Additionally, there’s a substantial 8 x 8-foot hardwood maple segment from the United Center, the famous basketball court where Jordan’s Bulls dynasty reigned during the 1990s. This piece bears a 32-inch signature written with a black Sharpie, listing titles like “Air Jordan, 5x MVP, 6x Finals MVP, 10x Scoring Champion, HOF 2009.”

This court piece is currently sitting at a bid of $155,000, but it’s expected to reach up to $500,000.

Other notable items in the auction include baseball memorabilia.

For instance, a game-used New York Yankees jersey signed by Mickey Mantle is estimated to bring in around $4 million. Interestingly, the jersey comes from his earlier years, reflecting his humble beginnings and the essence of the American dream, as Ivy emphasized.

Meanwhile, a 1923 Gold World Championship watch worn by a Yankees player is anticipated to attract significant interest as well.

A team photograph from 1927 featuring 45 signatures is also on the block, possibly drawing bids up to $200,000. According to Ivy, this piece is not just a highlight for the Yankees but is also seen as a significant artifact in the entire history of baseball.
