The NYPD released a new photo of the suspected killer of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Saturday night. Among them was a photo of him sitting masked in a taxi.
In one photo, the suspect can be seen looking directly into the camera, seemingly peering through a partition window to talk to the driver.
Another photo, a screenshot from a video also taken from a car, shows the suspect walking down the road wearing a hoodie and black down jacket.
Earlier today, the New York Police Department revealed that the killer's backpack found in Central Park contained a jacket and fake money from the board game Monopoly.
Thompson was shot Wednesday in a “brazen, targeted attack” outside a luxury hotel in Midtown, police said.
“The net is getting tighter,” Mayor Adams told reporters Saturday at the Police Athletic League's holiday party in Harlem.
The mayor declined to say whether investigators knew the suspect's name.
“I don't want to put it out there right now,” Adams said.
The search for the suspect has entered its fifth day.
