United Healthcare, Prisma do not reach agreement after months of negotiations – WYFF4 Greenville

As of Monday, Prisma Health is no longer in network for United Healthcare insurance patients. United Healthcare released the following statement on Monday: “Prisma Health did not object to the Dec. 27 proposal and allowed the contract to expire. WYFF News 4 reached out to Prisma and United Healthcare on Monday, the deadline for the two companies to reach an agreement.

United Healthcare released the following statement on Monday:

“Prisma Health did not object to our proposal on December 27th and allowed the contract to expire. Through our negotiations, Prisma has determined that its hospitals are better positioned than the market average in Columbia and Greenville.
