UnitedHealthcare CEO Shot and Killed in Gun-Controlled NYC

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, 50, was masked outside the Hilton Hotel in midtown Manhattan around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday as he arrived for a conference. He was shot dead by a man who did this.

of new york post reported The masked assailant fired shots at Thompson “repeatedly” and then “fled in an easterly direction down Sixth Avenue.”

Thompson was shot in the chest during the attack and was later taken to a hospital, where he died.

ABC7 noticed Police believe the shooting was targeted, but a motive is unknown.

The masked assailants are still at large.
