On Thursday's Fox News Channel's “Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) argued that donations should be taxed to the university and that “these people should not get federal funds.”
While discussing Columbia University, Holy said: “By the way, do you know what we should do? We tax their contributions. These universities are huge hedge funds that take our money, inculcate our children, and then become wealthy. These people should not get federal funds. We should tax their contributions. And we should expel students from this country on visas who engage in this type of garbage.”
After host Laura Ingraham said schools that have committed discrimination could lose their tax-free status, Holy added that “clear patterns and practices… and patterns and practices are attacking Jewish students, attacking left-wing pro-Hamas lobreakers,” and that “denying Jewish students” is “discriminating against Jewish students.” And the worst part is that they do it with our money. They are taking our taxes. And you're right, that money comes with lots of strings. It's when we started pulling those strings. ”
