A woman who Turning Point USA claims is an administrator at the University of Memphis was heard laughing on a recording after she said a student who is president of the school’s TPUSA chapter had been poisoned by angry protesters. This was revealed in a conversation.
In a recording Turning Point USA spoke to Breitbart News, the head of the school’s TPUSA chapter told the woman, “I feel like my personal information has now been identified,” and that the school’s director of conference and event services, Lauren Shelley said.
When a student asked a person who appeared to be an administrator what he thought should be done about the leakage of personal information, the student laughed and joked, “Maybe you shouldn’t stay there tonight. That’s my guess.” I heard him say it.
The TPUSA chapter president’s name, phone number, and address are listed as his plan to host an on-campus event featuring Kyle Rittenhouse, according to a social media post purportedly verified by Breitbart News. It is said that the information was made public for the purpose of revealing personal information against a student group.

Attached to the student’s personal information was a message that read, “Tell him what you think about his decision to invite a racist murderer on campus to provoke black students.” .
“That’s where I live,” the student was heard telling the woman, whom the organization identified as Shelly.
Turning Point USA told Breitbart News that two campus officials were also present at the meeting.
In the recording, a man said to be a campus employee repeatedly tells the TPUSA chapter president that his phone number and address are, strictly speaking, “public information,” and appears to dismiss the leak of personal information. was.
“That’s public information,” the man said. “They could easily find it.”
However, this purported police officer does not seem to have considered that this could mean releasing personal information or intentionally releasing personal information with malicious intent.
The students answered with point-blank questions. “Am I supposed to be doing something bigger?” [than it is]?Is this not as big of a deal as I think?? ” In response, the woman identified as Sherry and the two men identified as police officers admitted that they were “scary.”
“We don’t want people to think we’re trivializing it,” one of the alleged police officers told the students, before adding that the protesters were simply “intimidating” him into going to authorities. He said he believed he was just trying to trick him.
“I think that’s what they’re trying to do: intimidate you, sway you, and get you to do what they’re doing,” he said.
“And what you’re doing now is normal,” the person believed to be a police officer added, before repeating that “everyone’s information is public.”
The University of Memphis did not immediately respond to Breitbart News’ request for comment regarding the response of administrators and campus officials to the TPUSA president’s concerns.
As reported by Breitbart News, the student was arrested amid other suspicious circumstances surrounding a conservative student organization event featuring Kyle Rittenhouse.

The National Turning Point USA office said school administrators made last-minute demands that threatened to cancel the event if they were not met, and then attempted to sabotage the speaking event by divulging personal information to protesters. He said he did.
The group said that on the eve of the event, university administrators told TPUSA staff and students in a closed meeting that the ticketing process needed to be completely overhauled in order for the event to proceed.
The university announced it will send an email to registrants at 9 a.m. notifying them that their tickets are invalid, and then redirecting them to a new link for reissue. But 30 minutes before that happened, information was leaked to a group of protesters who had booked all their tickets and were planning to go on strike, according to TPUSA.
“There was no way these groups would have known about the new ticketing timing or protocols without school administrators divulging that information,” Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Corbett told Breitbart News. .
“This is unprecedented,” the TPUSA spokesperson continued. “We’ve never had to deal with ticket changes all day long, and we’ve never had to deal with administrative leaks of ticket information.”
“These are notable steps that we believe the university is taking to disrupt and potentially disrupt our event with Kyle Rittenhouse,” Corbett added. “We’re certainly used to hostile regimes, but not to this degree.”
Breitbart News will update this article pending response from the university.
