As the summer travel season approaches, countless Americans are gearing up for road trips. Many are leveraging AI to streamline the more challenging aspects of travel: Planning.

Feldman runs a PR firm and recently utilized ChatGPT for her work trip planning.
“I was essentially receiving the answers I required in real-time,” Feldman remarked.
AI can provide insights regarding your travel specifics to the core of public transportation.
“It calculated the route from my starting location to the closest train station, which train to take, and which train to transfer to—it was a complete game changer,” Feldman said.
ChatGPT can also process requests and integrate them into effective plans.
“I’m heading to Hawaii this weekend, so I formulated the entire agenda for the day,” explained Tyler Bennett, who employs AI to organize his vacation.

Bennett developed an Apple Map Guide highlighting the places he intends to visit and shared it with ChatGPT.
“You can use this as a framework or guide and will likely add more later,” Bennett noted.
Additional AI tools are also beneficial for travel.
“You can explore Gemini for budget flight searches and watch a YouTube video on potential activities at your destination,” remarked Sarah Armstrong, a Google Technology expert.

Google Gemini also features customized AI companions tailored to your needs.
“We’ve launched what we call Gems. This functions like your personal AI assistant for your preferences. I have travel gems in Gemini…it’s a chat function that I frequently refer to for travel arrangements, and it truly understands my likes, making things much simpler. I don’t have to keep resetting my prompts,” Armstrong mentioned.
As the demand for AI energy in the US is expected to surge, it simultaneously offers chances for energy management.
