D4vd has not been seen in public for several months, staying secluded in his $3.5 million mansion in Hollywood Hills amid personal chaos. His troubles intensified after he was arrested in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The singer’s newly updated home offered ample privacy, featuring four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a well-enclosed outdoor pool and spa.
Interestingly, many neighbors were surprised to learn that D4vd resided there at all.
However, a glimpse inside the home revealed quite a messy kitchen. The main island was cluttered with various food items: pretzel bites, sauce, bagels, syrup, ketchup, flour, and cereal were all sprawled across the counter.
It’s a bit unclear if he had just moved in, was getting ready to leave, or simply didn’t keep things tidy while living there.
The disarray in the kitchen spoke volumes, making one wonder what had been going on inside that house. Again, neighbors remained unaware that a notable figure like D4vd lived nearby.
Nestled behind the famed Chateau Marmont, the house is in a celebrity-rich area visited by the likes of Ariana Grande and Jimmy Kimmel.
D4vd’s arrest took place on Thursday on suspicion of Rivas’s murder. Surveillance footage captured him being escorted away in handcuffs by LAPD officers, fully armed.
The tragic discovery of Rivas’s dismembered body in the singer’s Tesla back in September led to D4vd’s disappearance from the public scene and the cancelation of his tour.
His defense team asserts his innocence. They remarked, “To be clear, the actual evidence will demonstrate that David Burke did not kill Celeste Rivas Hernandez and was not responsible for her death. While a grand jury has issued an indictment, no formal charges have yet been filed against him. David is currently in custody regarding these accusations, and we will defend his innocence with vigor.”
