Charges Filed Against Leader of Child Exploitation Group
A 21-year-old man, identified as Baron Kane Martin from Tucson, Arizona, stands accused of leading a violent extremist group involved in a horrifying scheme that exploits children for sexual abuse material. If convicted, he could face multiple life sentences.
Martin became associated with the group, known as “764,” around 2019 and operated under the online alias “Convict,” starting at just 15 years old.
Acting Assistant Attorney General John A. Eisenberg stated, “His alleged actions targeting children as part of the 764 Online Terror Network are deeply depraved and beyond comprehension.”
The Justice Department described the 764 organization as a “dangerous network of violent extremists” that systematically seeks out children, aiming to use child sexual abuse material as part of an agenda to dismantle societal norms and the U.S. government.
Recently, it was reported that Martin faces numerous charges, including:
- Five counts of manufacturing child pornography.
- Eleven charges of distributing child pornography.
- Three counts involving coercing minors to perform sexual acts.
- Three counts of cyberstalking.
- Animal cruelty.
- Distribution of animal crush videos.
- Conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Moreover, he’s also implicated in charges linked to a child exploitation enterprise and conspiring to support terrorism, including threats to harm individuals abroad.
Authorities revealed that Martin allegedly forced underage victims to self-harm. The group reportedly produces and shares “extreme gore media and child sexual abuse material,” coercing minors into mutilation while recording the acts.
The criminal complaint noted that Martin, under the alias “Prisoner,” claimed responsibility for thousands of extortions related to the group’s activities. He even referred to himself as the “Extortion King.”
In one shocking account, he reportedly compelled a 13-year-old child to carve designs onto her body, featuring satanic symbols, and had her inscribe his name on her skin. In another instance, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly instructed to scratch herself until she bled, followed by pouring alcohol onto her wounds.
Martin is believed to have victimized nine individuals, with the ages of eight of them ranging from 11 to 15 years old, and it is suspected he may have had more victims.
“This man’s alleged targeting of children, as part of the 764 online terrorist network, is both vile and incomprehensible,” Eisenberg added. “We are committed to ensuring that those responsible for such abhorrent acts are held accountable.”
In April, two other alleged members of the same network were arrested in North Carolina and Greece. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi emphasized the importance of parents remaining vigilant regarding their children’s online activities.
“This man’s actions shine a light on the severe dangers posed by the 764 group. If found guilty, the consequences will be dire, as we work to dismantle this nefarious organization,” said Bondi. “Parents need to be aware of the potential threats their children face online.”
Experts recommend that parents limit children’s access to social media and online platforms where they might interact with strangers.
