National transportation expert Mike Caudill spoke on “The Big Money Show” about the history of the Ford Mustang and revealed the automaker’s plans for the future.
Ford Motor is upgrading its popular Maverick pickup truck with a host of tech and other features for the 2025 model year.
The automaker unveiled the next-generation pickup truck on Wednesday, saying it is “making our smallest truck smarter to match the performance, roominess and versatility that made the Maverick the surprise hit of the decade.” The company expects the 2025 Maverick to hit the market in the second half of 2024.

The next Maverick will be available in four trim options: XL, XLT, Lariat and Tremor. Tremor was previously offered as an off-road focused package. In the XL, XLT and Lariat trims, Ford customers can get the hybrid model, notably with all-wheel drive.

Ford invests millions in revitalizing downtown Detroit
Ford has announced that the 2025 Maverick will come equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 5G modem and SYNC 4. The company said that towing-related features will be available on the Lariat and Tremor trim levels starting next year, with Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Back-Up Assist coming as “standard features.”
One of the trims available for the upcoming 2025 Ford Maverick is the Lariat.
For the 2025 Maverick, Ford has revamped various aspects of the pickup to give it a “fresh look.” For example, different trims will have different grilles.
