News of a proposed In-N-Out Burger at a bustling mall in Northern California has sparked excitement among fans.
During a city council meeting in Salinas on September 8, details emerged about plans to construct a restaurant with a drive-thru at Northridge Mall, as reported by KSBW.
The proposed eatery would cover 3,890 square feet and be situated on 1.18 acres.
However, the submitted documents indicated that the application for this restaurant was labeled “incomplete,” which means it hasn’t received approval just yet.
It would be placed between an existing Panera Bread and Chick-fil-A at the mall, joining the recently opened Raising Cane’s.
The anticipation for this In-N-Out has many fans eager for what’s to come.
Comments on social media reflected this enthusiasm, with one user expressing, “This would be ideal.” Another added, “YES, it’s about time!” while a third exclaimed, “Finally!”
Currently, Salinas hosts just one In-N-Out Burger, located off Highway 101 on Kern Street, and it includes both a dining area and a drive-thru.
The nearest alternative is about 13 miles away in Seaside, followed by another location in Gilroy, roughly 25 miles from Salinas.
As of now, the burger chain hasn’t listed the new site on its official website. Efforts to reach In-N-Out for further details are ongoing.
Meanwhile, the chain continues to expand in various areas, with upcoming openings set for Tennessee, Arizona, and two new locations in Southern California.
