US Marshals arrest illegal immigrant suspect in fatal Illinois hit-and-run

U.S. Marshals have located and taken into custody the suspect in an Illinois hit-and-run fatality in a Texas town south of Dallas.

Juan Jajajel Sáenz Suarez, a 27-year-old Mexican national living in Urbana, Illinois, was involved in a crash in Urbana just before 2 a.m. on January 19th that killed Chloe Polzin, 21, and Katherine Abraham. He was charged with hitting a 20-year-old man.

After investigating, authorities learned that Saenz-Suarez was the owner of the red Mitsubishi Outlander that caused the fatal crash, and authorities obtained an arrest warrant on Jan. 20, Urbana police announced in a press release Wednesday. .

“A request for assistance was then sent to the USSMS.
