The Seoul Ministry of Trade said on Sunday that South Korea and the US will hold trade talks this week in Washington with trade talks proposed in Washington.
Finance Minister Choi Sang-Mok and Trade Minister Anne Duk Gae-woon will meet with Jamieson Greer, a bystander at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank’s Spring Conference, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent, the ministry said in a statement.

South Korea hopes to lower the 25% “mutual” tariffs that President Trump has announced for the country.
Anne will leave Wednesday, the statement said. They did not specify an agenda or provide any other details.
