A prominent women's justice organization launched a campaign Thursday to ensure that the accused rapist and trafficker Andrew Tate is handed over from the United States.
The group's Ultraviolet attacked the Trump administration, which reportedly affected Romanian officials last month to allow Tate to fly to Florida.
Volunteers from the group featured “unnecessary in Miami” posters in Spanish and English, featuring QR codes linking Tate's face and details of the city-wide crimes of him and his brother Tristan suspects.
They also held a lunchtime press conference in Miami's Winwood area. It is believed that the pair stays there.
“Tate is a misogynistic influencer and talks about raping women on camera and reportedly earns money to teach other men sexually transport women,” said Rosa Valderrama, campaign director at Ultraviolet.
“For an administration that claims to protect women, bringing sexual predators to the streets of Miami is hypocritical, reckless and dangerous.”
The Tate Brothers arrived in Florida on a flight from Bucharest on February 27th. There, he was brought to trial on charges of rape, sex with a minor, human trafficking and money laundering. They were in prison and were under house arrest for over two years.
Romanian prosecutors have suspended the travel ban and the court lifted precautions against some of their assets following reports that Donald Trump Accorite, US Special Envoy Richard Grenell, filed a lawsuit with Rome's Foreign Minister Emil Flezzanu at the early Munich Security Conference.
The brothers are currently undergoing criminal investigations in Florida, where state Attorney General James Usmiere announced a collaboration to “fight human trafficking and sexual abuse with our law enforcement agencies and partners around the world.”
They are also being sought in the UK, which filed an extradition request for alleged sexual assault in a case dating back to 2012, but were told it would not take place until the conclusion of a legal case in Romania.
Under the conditions of their release, Andrew, 38, and Tristan, 36, will need to return to Bucharest by the end of the month.
The White House denies knowledge of the situation Tates, a dual citizen of the US and the UK, has arrived in the US. But Andrew Tate was free when Florida reporters asked if the president was involved earlier this month.
“Trump is such a boss, he is such a gang.” He said.
On Thursday, Valderama criticized the presumed hand in Trump's lawsuit.
“The Trump administration wants to portray itself as a female guardian, but their job of bringing Andrew Tate back to the streets of the United States reveals the true values and priorities of the administration,” she said. “Trump doesn't care about protecting women.”
Ultraviolet rays also help to expose sexual predators Harvey Weinstein, R. Kelly and Bill O'Reilly I launched a website Link to a petition urging Attorney General Pam Bondy, a close ally of Trump, to hand over to the UK. The group said the petition launched earlier this month already has more than 10,000 signatures.
The Tate brothers have consistently denied all charges and allegations against them, and Andrew Tate said they targeted Florida governor Ron DeSantis by 10.9 million followers on X, who said their toxic brand of masculinity was not welcome in his state.
Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, told the Guardian in a statement this month. “Florida Criminal Investigation” is a weak attempt by the power and unknown lawyer general to take power, with the aim of building his reputation.
“The Tate Brothers are law-abiding citizens that fully comply with the terms of their release in Romania.
The Florida State Attorney's Office has not responded to an investigation into the status of the investigation.
A recent episode of Andrew Tate's internet-based reality series, Tate Confidential features a sibling who is glamorously wrapped in a Miami Mansion pool, taking posture and smoking.
Last week, Streaming Service Spotify deleted the Andrew Tate podcast after complaints from users, including online petitions signed by over 92,000 people.
A broadcast titled Pimping Hoes and some of Tate's “degree courses” on “How to make girls quick and easy” have been defeated for violating company policies.
In part of the deleted podcast, Tate said, “The reason the sexual market is so fucked is because there are too many women who get attention without having sex.”
