More than 30 House Republicans have signed a letter urging their colleagues to use the power of their wallets to oppose the “radical politicization” of border security and the Department of Defense.
“Is there a point at which we refuse to allow this to happen on our watch, or are there no standards that would be so damaging to our country that we would refuse to fund an invading government?” letter state. “The House must pass a spending measure that would force the core elements of HR2 into the Secure Borders Act, end funding for human trafficking, and ban non-citizens from voting in federal elections. If this happens, Republicans will actively fund Mr. Biden’s “open borders” policy,” the letter states.
