USCIS offers third gender option

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that it will now offer an alternative gender option to people who identify as neither male nor female when applying for naturalization.

“USCIS is introducing a third gender option, “X,” defined as “alternative gender identity.” Today, we published a new version of Form N-400. This is the first form to include X gender options. This option will be available with additional gender options. “When revising a form,” USCIS tweeted.
