Utah band God’s Finest Scalpel shared two intense songs about Charlie Kirk’s predicted demise.

Utah band God's Finest Scalpel shared two intense songs about Charlie Kirk's predicted demise.

A musician from Utah is facing significant backlash after he uploaded a controversial song titled “Charlie Kirk Dead at 31” to SoundCloud and Bandcamp last month.

This song was recorded the day after the fatal shooting of conservative figure Charlie Kirk. Musician and photographer Sky Varades filmed the five-minute track, which bears an inappropriate title, seemingly mocking Kirk.

The song was part of a project called “Monachopsis,” but it wasn’t available for streaming as of Thursday morning.

Despite the content being removed, links to the song still indicated its existence before they were taken down.

Prior to its removal, attempts were made to reach Varades through Bandcamp, but he did not respond.

Details on the shooting of Charlie Kirk in Utah

  • Authorities have named 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the suspect in the shooting death of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10.
  • Robinson is likely to face aggravated murder charges and possibly more, according to an affidavit made public on September 12.
  • Kirk, who was 31 and a co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot in the neck while participating in an event for an American comeback tour.
  • Former President Trump was among those who called for severe penalties for the shooter.
  • Kirk’s remains were transported by Air Force 2 to Arizona and were taken to Hansen Funeral Chapel in Phoenix, alongside Vice President J.D. Vance.
  • Kirk left behind a wife and two children.

Valadez, who hails from Ogden, also used the Instagram handle @stra1ght_d3ath_ and received criticism from a young activist.

Earlier in April, her band, known as God’s Perfect Scalpel, released a track named “Death to American Scum.”

Kirk, well-known for engaging audiences at events, was tragically shot during a public event at the university.

Robinson, the suspect in the murder, was arrested early on Friday morning.

Kirk had gained notoriety for his unique debate format, where people could openly challenge conservative views in constructive conversations.

It remains uncertain if Robinson was aware of the song or the existence of the anti-Kirk messages.
