The U.S. Veterans Affairs Administration (VA) has announced a $56,000 contract that paid “plant contractors” eight decorative potted plants to water and cancelled them.
“The VA cancelled its five-year, $56,000 contract for five years, over ~8 years. Doge, led by Elon Musk, said on the X-Post Thursday night:
“The contract will be cancelled and Doge will water the plants free of charge,” the department said, “We will not water these plants. These plants are served by factory contractors.”
