Actor Val Kilmer's official cause of death was revealed by Los Angeles County officials almost two weeks after his death in a long health battle.
Batman and Top Gun Star passed away on April 1st in Los Angeles, 65.
The official cause of death of the actor has been recorded as pneumonia. It has been reported By TMZ.
Documents revealed by the Los Angeles County Department of Health also showed that Kilmer had a root cause.
These included acute hypoxic respiratory failure, chronic respiratory failure, and squamous cell carcinoma at the base of the tongue.
Other factors listed on the death certificate were malnutrition and tracheal skin fist follicles.
The outlet reported that Kilmer had been dealing with serious health issues over the years. After the 2015 throat cancer battle, he lost much of his voice.
By the time of his last film role, Top Gun: Maverickcame out in 2022, so they had to use AI to recreate his voice.
