The Ohio congressman also sought to protect small businesses from the wrath by making it clear that Primanti Brothers remains in a favorable position.

“It's okay, don't be hard on her, she's just a little nervous. But this is a great local business. Keep supporting it. And most importantly, on November 5th, Let's go vote. Let's win this.”

Primanti Brothers then issued a statement allowing Vance and his supporters to meet inside the restaurant and avoid a conservative boycott.

“Our doors are open to all patrons who wish to dine with us,” the statement reads.
