Vance Made a Mistake with ‘Stupid Comment About Childless Cat Ladies’
Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume said Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” that Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) was mistaken in his comments about childless cat ladies.
“What do you think about this? The media has obviously already covered the honeymoon period of Kamala Harris’ nomination, but with Vance, he’s clearly under attack,” host Bret Baier said.
“I remember when John McCain surprised many by choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008,” Hume said. “She started off great; she wowed the delegates with her fiery press conferences and convention speeches. Things seemed to be going well until interest in the facts about her background grew and some bizarre comments came to light, which ultimately ruined the whole thing. It turned out to be a mistake.”
He continued, “Obviously Vance made a mistake with his stupid comments about Catwoman not having children and now he has to defend it.”
“The vice presidential nominee tends not to matter too much. At the moment Senator Vance seems like a drag on the list, but in the end people will vote for the top of the list,” Hume concluded.
