Vance prepared to take over the presidency if anything happens to Trump

Vice President JD Vance indicated that he is prepared to take charge if something “scary” were to happen to President Trump.

“Absolutely, unexpected events can arise at any moment,” Vance mentioned when asked about the president’s safety, particularly given Trump’s history with assassination attempts.

“Indeed, a tragic situation could occur,” he added. “If, God forbid, something terrible happens, I can’t think of better preparation than the training I’ve had over the last 200 days.”

Despite his remarks, Vance expressed his belief that President Trump is healthy.

At 79, Trump holds the record as the oldest individual to be inaugurated as president. Vance, contrastingly, is among the youngest vice presidents in US history but insisted that Trump remains active and engaged.

“He possesses remarkable energy. Most of his staff are younger, but honestly, he seems to be the last one to get tired,” Vance said.

Last month, the White House disclosed that Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which causes blood circulation issues, after he experienced slight swelling in his legs.

In response to recent concerns about bruises on Trump’s hands, a White House representative revealed that these were attributed to “minor soft tissue stimulation” from frequent handshaking and aspirin usage.

The president’s doctor confirmed through several tests that ruled out serious conditions, stating, “There were no signs of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.” Leavitt reassured the public that no indications of heart failure, kidney issues, or systemic diseases were found.
