Vice President JD Vance reported that he faced pro-Uklein protesters while he was on a walk with his 3-year-old daughter.

On Saturday, Vance posted to X. Protesters approached him while he was walking with the toddler.
“Today, while walking my 3-year-old daughter, a group of protesters from 'Slabaukraine' followed us around us, screaming as my daughter screamed with increasing anxiety and scare,” Vance posted. “Slabaukraine” means “glory to Ukraine.”
“I decided to talk to the protesters in the hopes of exchanging conversations for a few minutes to leave the toddler alone,” he continued. “Nearly all of them agreed.”
He said it was “an almost respectful conversation,” but if you're chasing the 3 year old as part of a political protest, you're – like a person.”
Vance did not specify that he spoke to the protesters. However, the encounter occurs after President Donald Trump suspends all military aid to Ukraine on February 28th after a round-trip discussion at the oval office.th With Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky.
Throughout the meeting, Trump and Vance accused Zelensky of not appreciating the support the US has already provided, while adding that Ukrainian leaders were in a “bad position” at the negotiation table.
“You're playing cards,” Trump said. “You're living and gambling for millions of people. You're gambling with World War II. You're gambling with World War II. And what you're doing is very rude to this country, to this country.”
Trump instructed Zelensky to leave the White House without signing a contract, adding that he could return to “when peace is ready.”
Last week, Zelensky called the meeting “unfortunate,” adding that he is now ready to work for peace.
