Vice President JD Vance criticized pro-Crayne protesters who were chasing him and his three-year-old daughter, noting that his daughter was “increasingly uneasy.”
in post In X, Vance explained that he “want to talk to the protesters” if he left his daughter alone, adding that he agreed.
“Today, while walking my 3-year-old daughter, a group of protesters from Slabaukraine chased around us, yelling that my daughter screamed with increasing anxiety and fear,” Vance wrote. “I decided to talk to the protesters in the hopes of exchanging conversations for a few minutes to leave the toddler alone.”
Vance added that it is “an almost respectful conversation,” but that if the protesters “have been chasing the 3-year-old as part of a political protest,” they are “s**t people.”
This is not the first time the Vance family has faced pro-Ukraine protesters after meetings with Ukrainian President Voldimi Zelensky, President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Oval Office.
At the beginning of March, Vermonts protested a visit to the Vance family's Sugar Bush Resort, saying, “Vance is a traitor. I'm going skiing in Russia,” and “JD Vance is a Nazi Scum.”
Procrane's protest came after Vance, Trump and Rubio met Zelensky and the oval office. During the meeting, Zelensky dismissed Vance's idea of diplomacy, and Vance kept informing Zelensky that it was “disrespectful” to “come to an oval office to try to sue this in front of the American media.”
“Right now, you're having talent issues, so you're going around and forcing drafting to the forefront,” Vance added. “We should thank the President for trying to end this conflict.”
Zelensky attempted to challenge the allegations that Ukraine had a draft issue in its military, explaining that “everyone has a problem” during the war. When Zelensky added that the US would “feel it in the future,” Trump told Zelensky “is not in a position to direct what the US is trying to “feel.”
Trump also jumped in when Zelensky hinted that Ukraine was “only” in the war with Russia, and pointed out that the US had given financial aid with the Ukrainian army.
“You weren't alone,” Trump said. “We handed it over to you [our] Stupid President, $35 billion. We've given you military equipment… If you hadn't had our military equipment, this war would have ended in two weeks. ”
Katherine Hamilton of Breitbart New reported that in the aftermath of the Oval Office incident, Zelensky was asked to leave and failed to sign the expected mineral trade. Trump has also issued a statement saying that Zelensky “will not be prepared for peace if America were involved.”
In a speech by President Trump before the Congressional joint session, Trump revealed that Zelensky had sent him a letter indicating he was ready for peace and was also ready to sign the mineral trade.
