Vance Will Meet With Key FBI and DOJ Officials to Talk About Epstein Approach

Meeting on Ghislaine Maxwell Case

Vice President JD Vance is set to meet with officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI to discuss the potential release of an initial report regarding the administration’s interview with Ghislaine Maxwell.

A source familiar with the situation indicated that this meeting is in the works.

In July, Associate Attorney General Todd Blanche conducted interviews with Maxwell, covering almost 100 individuals connected to Jeffrey Epstein. The meeting will take place at Vance’s home and includes Attorney General Pam Bondy, FBI Director Kash Patel, and White House Chief Susie Wills.

Sources indicate that the focus will be on how the administration is managing the fallout from the Epstein case, aiming for a cohesive response.

Interestingly, a memo was circulated to signify the conclusion of the investigation into the Epstein case. This memo followed administrative discussions that promoted the notion of a client list, although it was stated in July that this list had not been disclosed to Axios.

This abrupt ending has triggered disappointment among the president’s supporters, with Trump describing the situation as a “hoax.”

Previous admissions from administrative authorities revealed anger over the handling of the Epstein case. Some officials expressed confusion about whether the investigation truly concluded, especially since there are still sealed documents associated with ongoing legal matters.

Following her meeting with Blanche, Maxwell was transferred from a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida, to a minimum-security camp in Texas, where she is serving a 20-year sentence.

Her attorney has submitted documents in the Southern District of New York, seeking to keep significant judge transcripts private.

One official emphasized the need for an improved administrative response to the consequences of Epstein’s situation, stating, “We can arrest all drug leaders and cartel leaders, but people want closure in this case.”
